The Cook County Department of Public Health is accepting appointments at its regional clnics for H1N1 vaccinations.

Public health officials expect to begin H1N1 flu vaccinations within the next few weeks, but high school-based vaccinations might not occur for several months. Other options do exist, however, for parents of teens.

District 207 is closely monitoring H1N1 (swine) flu. Check here for information from the Centers for Disease Control, including steps for parents to protect your child and family from the flu this school year.

The Cook County Department of Public Health plans to offer H1N1 flu vaccinations to students at Maine East, South and West High Schools on Dec. 2. Details available here and at each school's Web site.
