Curriculum & Instruction

Reading individually together
Maine Township High School District 207 offers a comprehensive range of curriculum offerings to prepare all students for success in life as well as in ongoing learning opportunities beyond high school. There is a focus both on a core curriculum aligned with the Illinois Learning Standards and ensuring that all students have access to opportunities beyond that core curriculum ranging from experiencing everything from Art and Music to Fashion, Culinary, Robotics, Engineering, and Computer Science.

Maine 207 provides students with opportunities to earn college credit while still in high school through Advanced Placement courses as well as through dual credit courses in conjunction with institutions of higher education.

In addition to the range of coursework available to all students, Maine 207 provides comprehensive counseling services to all students, specialized support services to individual students, and utilizes a sophisticated and meaningful approach to student assessment in order to maximize student learning.
